The Ospreys were all there at the Cypress Lake nesting colony! The image above is a stare down from an Osprey banking in front of us. The clouds provided a nice contrast here, without even mentioning the moon in the back 🙂

There were lots of Ospreys flying back to the nest with fish. The tricky part is to get an Osprey with a fish that is still whole. Not easy, when many of them come back with a missing head…

Another missing head, but this time while calmly munching from a Cypress tree branch. The habitat is absolutely pristine at that location. Unfortunately, there are few places where this is possible now.
