The image above two chicks interacting together with one seemingly pushing an empty egg shell. The dreamy foreground was created by lowering the camera so low that other sand components made a fuzzy white bottom. You would think the birds are on a cloud. Do you like that effect?

What is a good Skimmer photography tour without the iconic bank over the blue water with a fish in the beak? So, here it is a nice banking maneuver with the back tail nicely fluffed out. Getting the bird who has a fish definitely adds to the challenge! In reality, it is a matter of properly choosing your subject while the birds are in flight. Another good situation to recognize is when the birds are on a ledge of sand. This allows for a very low angle to capture the blue sky behind, making for a very nice color combination.
